The Schaudepot (Public Storage)
‘The Institution’ has rented a former craft business in the south of Stuttgart (approx. 40 m2, reception, office and warehouse). Now a model institution – unique for the performing arts – is to be created here step by step: a public storage. Research institution, archive and venue at once. ‘The Institution’ opens its archives publicly, shares its means of production, organizes workshops and experiments with offering existing productions of ‘The Institution’ – as well as commissioned works of international guest artists – as 1-to-1-performances ‘on demand’.
The performance ‘The Movement’ can currently be booked and visited by two people at a time.
